People in Horror films are Idiots!

Doesn't it bother you how all people in horror movies are SUCH IDIOTS! For instance, when there is a sound from the room upstairs, they go up to 'check it out' on their own with NO WEAPON! Also, they always go to stay at the creepy hotel or investigate the supposedly haunted old barn, why? Also, when there is one person left (normally a women) running pretty darn quickly away from the evil guy, he manages to catch up to them in a few brisk steps, and even if they don't catch up with the person running away, they ALWAYS trip over. In Conclusion, if you are driving along and your car breaks down outside a spooky house, don't go in to ask for help, most likely, you'll trip over and be killed by a maniac.
